Core shooters are widely used in the casting machinery industry. The core manufactured by the core shooter has accurate size and smooth surface. However, if the operating procedures of the core shooter are not standardized, there will be hidden dangers in the mechanical production. Now let's understand the operating procedures of the core shooter.

(1) Core shooters are widely used in the casting machinery industry. The core manufactured by the core shooter has accurate size and smooth surface. However, if the operating procedures of the core shooter are not standardized, there will be hidden dangers in the mechanical production. The operating procedures of the core shooter are as follows:

1、 Before the core shooter runs

1. Remove the obstacles hindering the normal operation of the core shooter equipment.

2. Lubricate the equipment according to the lubrication card.

3. Check whether the fasteners of the key parts of the core shooter equipment are tight. If they are loose, they must be fastened.

5. Check whether all the door handles are in the rest position.

6. Unscrew the compressed air valve and conduct no-load test run for the core shooter equipment. In this process, it is necessary to check whether the mechanism operates normally and whether the pipeline of each valve leaks.

2、 During the operation of the core shooter

1. After the core shooter is started, the operator shall not leave the post without permission, and shall concentrate on the operation according to the process procedure, but shall not operate two cutting doors at the same time.

2. Always pay attention to the operation of the core shooter. In case of poor lubrication, loose fasteners, damaged parts, or pipeline leakage, and other abnormalities, stop the machine immediately and notify the maintenance personnel for repair if necessary.

3. In the process of production, if the core shooter is found to be weak in vibration, compaction, retransmission or clamping, the maintenance personnel shall be notified for inspection and repair.

4. Always keep the shock piston working under lubrication, blow off the sand on the piston regularly, and then spray lubricating oil.

5. When lifting the sand box, the sand box shall not collide with the model or the handle of the cutting door to avoid damaging the model or causing misoperation.

6. During the production process, the sand on and around the core shooter should be removed frequently to prevent sand from entering the cylinder.

7. In case of an accident of the core shooter, immediately stop the equipment operation, keep the site, and report to the relevant departments for inspection, analysis and treatment.

3、 After work

1. Clean the site, clean the sand on and around the core shooter, and clean the equipment.

2. Put all the valve handles of the core shooter on the stationary position, and close the compressed air valve.

3. Sand boxes or other objects shall not be placed on or around the core shooter equipment.

(2) The working principle of the core shooter is to inject the core sand mixture with liquid or solid thermosetting resin as the binder into the heated core box. The sand core will soon harden to a certain thickness (about 5-10 mm) in the hot core box and take it out to obtain high-quality sand core products with smooth surface and accurate size.

(3) The hot-box core shooter has the following advantages compared with the ordinary core shooter:

1. High production efficiency: the hot core box core shooter completes the work process of sand filling and compaction at the same time, and hardens immediately in the hot core box. A cycle cycle only takes ten to ten seconds, and then the sand core for casting can be produced.

2. Good quality of sand core: it can shoot sand cores of any complexity, and the size is accurate and the surface is smooth, which can reduce the casting machining allowance.

3. It can save many auxiliary equipment and tools for core making, such as core oven, dryer, core bone, wax line, etc.

4 Reduce labor intensity, operate flexibly and easily, use electric heating, automatically control the temperature, and easily keep the working place clean, creating conditions for the mechanization and automation of the core making process.

5 If the gas generation system is selected, this machine can meet the requirements of cold core box core-making.
